Capital District Truck Center and Envy Autowerks was formed in January 2006. Owners Frank and Patricia Tralongo, having been in the building business for over thirty years, decided to expand their family owned businesses to include an aftermarket vehicle accessory store. Frank obtained his degree in Business Administration from HVCC and Patti obtained her degree in Secretarial Studies from Cobleskill College. Their four children, Frankie, Mike, Jaclyn and Dominic all help out in the store when they are not on building sites, and all have experience in welding, fabrication and bolt on accessories. Jaclyn plays the role of office assistant when duty calls.The staff consists of a few more members, including Mike Haig, Mananger. Mike has 20 years of experience in the automotive field and is Dupont and PPG Certified to paint cars as well as being certified to spray liners. He is a graduate of HVCC with a degree in Automotive Mechanics and Automotive Finishing. His expertise is restyling to include body work, painting, leather interiors, sun roofs, wheels and tires, and suspensions. Mike is also very well versed with bolt on accessories. He recently had the opportunity to work along side Ish from West Coast Customs at the SEMA show in Las Vegas to learn the inside tricks when installing leather.
Our mechanic Steve LaForest has his NYS DOT Inspector License and has completed two years of auto mechanics from Votec. Steve has 10 years of experience in suspensions and diesel performance upgrades as well as years of experience in sales in the parts department. He is also very experienced in suspensions, all performance parts and bolt on accessories.
